Somewhere Else

Contemporary tourism becomes more and more instant. The tourist is brought to the destination with the travel agency then he/she takes hundreds of photographs of famous sights and returns back home.

Living for three months in Mexico City made me think that my tourist experience became somehow deeper. This series of photographs is made of mundane objects that were found in the host house. The objects that I would overlook at home attracted here greater perception. As one of the sayings says that neighbor’s bread is always better than the one that is at home.
